			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>When I&#8217;m craving inspiration of the interior kind, I love browsing the <a href="http://www.designspongeonline.com/category/sneak-peeks">Sneak Peeks</a> over at <a href="http://www.designspongeonline.com/">Design*Sponge</a>. There&#8217;s never a shortage of girly, vintage-inspired Brooklyn kitchens to feast my eyes on. Every now and then, though, you come across something entirely different- like the slightly masculine <a href="http://www.designspongeonline.com/2008/11/sneak-peek-melissa-mcclures-la-loft.html">LA loft</a> of jewelry designer <a href="http://www.jewelryalchemy.com/jewelryalchemy/home.html">Melissa McClure</a>. </p>

<p>I love how the stainless steel shelves and white stove look against the grey walls- restrained but impactful at the same time. With this subdued colour scheme, even the open shelving and knickknacks on the stove don&#8217;t look like clutter. The addition of few red items here and there ends up looking like a purposeful design decision. Lovely, no?</p>
