Around this time of year design blogs become inundated with talk of “looking forward to Spring” and adoring “bright, happy colours”. I usually don’t participate in this; I hate to break it to you, but we still have months of winter ahead of us.
Of course, that doesn’t mean I’m immune to pretty, cheerful products. The high street is awash with florals these days, and no matter how far away Spring may actually be, they’re helping to keep a smile on my face. Check out some of my favourite floral-inspired pieces:

1. I adore Marks & Spencer‘s new Elizabeth dinnerware line; such a fresh take on traditional tableware. 2. Always reliable for pretty things, Anthropologie does it again with its After Showers butterfly tea towel. 3. I love this sweet ceramic pig from the V&A shop. It would make a great cookie jar! 4. Blue storage jar from PIP Studio. 5. Liberty oven glove in classic Eloise print. 6. Habitat‘s Concetta Teapot is wonderfully whimsical.
