Happy Friday, everyone! For today’s photo treat I wanted to share some work by Sharyn Cairns, an Australian photographer I discovered just the other day through Decor8. Her work is beautiful and I had the best time going through her online portfolio, deciding which photos to share here. They’re moody and evocative, with some of the best food styling I’ve seen in a while.

As I’ve mentioned before, I just love the UK mail-order company Toast. Their clothing and home catalogues are so beautifully styled; it makes me want it all! I was happy to stumble across their site today, for the first time since the summer, and find some great new Autumn treats. I’m abandoning my usual Friday Flickr update for some lovely food photography today. I’ve never had an American Thanksgiving, and I’ve most definitely never had a Southern one, but these photos from Country Living make me think I might be missing out. I love the colours and the presentation here, which perfectly evoke the elegance and cosiness of the holiday season. Happy Friday, everybody!
